Interview with Yuki Sugiura, Composer
An up-and-coming composer and founder of "Heinrich von Ofterdingen" caught our attention. So we interviewed him.
03.02.10 - 6:40 PM

Yuki Sugiura is a founder of the band "Heinrich von Ofterdingen." He and his band have composed and performed music for a number of Idea Factory titles, particularly those on the "Otomate" label (primarily graphic adventures).

We were impressed with some of Sugiura's more recent albums, including L2 Love x Loop and Spectral Gene. So we contacted Mr. Sugiura for an interview. He kindly obliged.

Click the first link below to read our detailed interview with this eccentric, up-and-coming composer, wherein he details his thoughts on the industry and his own music.

Below that, we have links to two newly-posted soundtrack reviews: one for L2, and another for the PSP game Spectral Force Legacy. For comparison, we also have a soundtrack review for the DS game Spectral Force Genesis, which is composed by a team other than Sugiura and Heinrich von Ofterdingen.

Finally, keep an eye out for our upcoming review of the sountrack for Death Connection, a new Sugiura/Ofterdingen joint which was just released today.
