Buy Ys I & II Chronicles Early, Get Some Hair Metal
You know, in case you were nostalgic for the 80s.

I don't know how many of you were even alive in the 80s, let alone remember the hair metal bands from those days. With bands like Poison, Guns N Roses, Aerosmith, chances are some of us recall the hair better than the metal. What an interesting decade.

Anyway, the bonus music CD that the first-print editions of XSEED's Ys I & II Chronicles comes with won't exactly be music from those bands. Rather, the original Ys first was released in 1987, so this edition celebrates Falcom's in-house band from even back then: the jdk band. The CD will contain 20 remastered tracks from Ys I and II, and is only available with the retail (UMD) version of Ys I & II Chronicles. That edition will cost you $29.99 US, while downloading on the PlayStation Network will take just $24.99 from your pocket. Both will release in February.
