Catch A Shiny Legendary Pokémon At Your Local GameStop
Starting.. now!
01.05.11 - 2:28 AM

Leading up to Pokémon Black & White's March release in North America, Nintendo and Gamestop have teamed up for a special in-store promotion that is sure to be of interest to the big fans, at least. Starting now (well actually, yesterday), you can catch some legendary Pokémon for a limited time. There are three different ones up for grabs depending on when you go: From yesterday until January 9th, you can collect a Shiny Raikou; January 17th-23rd will be a Shiny Entei; and from January 31st to February 6th a Shiny Suicune will be up for grabs.

These guys differ from their regular versions since they are, of course, Shiny and differently coloured than usual. If you transfer them to your copy of Black or White, you'll then have a chance to catch Zoroark, who can't be obtained otherwise. You will need of course, a DS plus a copy of either Pokémon HeartGold or SoulSilver, or a copy of Pokémon Diamond, Pearl or Platinum, so long as you've already obtained that game's Pokédex. You can also only have two WonderCards max.

Pokémon Black & White for the Nintendo DS are due out on March 6th.
