Have A Baby & Swimsuit Contests In Rune Factory Oceans
Not necessarily at the same time!
01.06.11 - 9:20 PM

Marvelous shared a few random tidbits on Rune Factory Oceans recently, of which a swimsuit contest is especially of interest to some readers, I'd wager. As you can probably see in the screenshots, Rune Factory Oceans has changing seasons - and when it hits summertime, the town holds a swimsuit contest down at the beach. The male main character, Azel also participates, but we don't know if he's the only guy. If so, lucky for him.

Like past Rune Factory titles, you can get married... but this time around, you'll also get to have babies. They didn't say how far you have to go in raising your virtual kids, since all we've got is a screen of your wife telling you she's pregnant. Will Sonia get to have offspring too? Stay tuned!

There will also be sidequests: when you visit the message board you'll find requests from the island's residents. Complete the quests in exchange for items. And speaking of items, you'll also get to create items out of materials you find in your adventures.

Finally, you'll get to create monsters you've met using your magic brush, and the ones you can create can be brought into battle with you as an ally.

Rune Factory Oceans is out in Japan on February 24th for both the Nintendo Wii and the PlayStation 3.
