DC Universe Online Selling At Super Speed
Now they just need to fix those villainous supply issues!

Sony Online Entertainment CEO John Smedley has revealed via Twitter that the recently released DC Universe Online is SOE's fastest selling game... ever! The superhero-themed MMO came out just under two weeks ago and, according to Smedley, copies have been flying off shelves faster than they can be restocked, even achieving the top sales slot on Steam last week. SOE is currently working on getting more copies to stores, as well as adding new servers to combat log-in queues that have resulted from the large number of sales. Smedley also disclosed that 52% of players are on the PS3 while 48% are on PC, a surprisingly heroic percentage for a console MMO.

DC Universe Online is available now on the PS3 and PC for $59.99 and $49.99 US respectively, and carries a $14.99 monthly fee.
