Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights Coming To Europe This Summer
He's like Professor Layton, except with a mustache and an attitude.
01.30.11 - 2:07 PM

Konami's first Nintendo 3DS title, Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights, has drawn more than a few comparisons to the Professor Layton series. In both games, the titular character is a scholarly gentleman who solves puzzles with the aid of an indomitable sidekick. Doctor Lautrec, however, is less of a "hero" and more of an amoral researcher who just wants to adventure and unearth treasure. Another key difference between the games is that Lautrec is directly controllable, in both an exploration mode and in an unrevealed mode that makes use of statistics like HP and attack power.

Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights was just announced for a Summer 2011 release in Europe. A North American release date has not yet been announced.
