Square Enix has announced that the PSone version of Final Fantasy V will be seeing release on the PlayStation Network in Japan this spring. Adding CG cutscenes and additional features, the PSone iteration also added significant load times, though those will likely be curbed in the digital iteration. No release has been announced for North America, as Final Fantasy V was only available in a package with Final Fantasy VI called Final Fantasy Anthology.
