Valkyria Chronicles 3 wants to do things bigger and better than
Valkyria Chronicles II. There is not only DLC planned for
Valkyria Chronicles 3 with extra missions, but it will also feature episodes that playoff and continue on the
Valkyria Chronicles 3's plot. The episodes feature cutscenes along with missions to complete.
Episode I, entitled the Restless, features Nameless squad leader Kurt and Imca navigating through a wintry backdrop. Clear the mission associated with this story, and you'll get a new sword. Also, one mission that will be sold, entitled, Disciplinary Mission: Block Their Way, promises players some new challenging gameplay mechanics. Specifically, you'll have to thwart off an army using anti-tank weapons. This mission rewards you with a blue ribbon that will increase your evasion.
Extra missions will carry a price tag of 200 Yen, while episodes will cost more at 600 Yen. Valkyria Chronicles 3 Episode 1: The Restless will be available first on February 24th in Japan.
