Final Fantasy Tactics: The War Of The Lions Also Goes To JPSN
And Final Fantasy III iOS gets a date...ish.
02.21.11 - 9:37 PM

Looks like Final Fantasy I and II aren't the only PlayStation Portable games to pop up on the Japanese PlayStation Network. Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions will also be available for download in Japan (or if you have a Japanese account), but not until March 9th. The PSP version was infamous for its battle load times, which might not be so bad this time around as a data install.

The iOS version of The War of the Lions is also on its way this spring. Though we mentioned it a couple of days ago, Square Enix confirmed today that Final Fantasy III is headed to Apple's devices. Similar to the V-Jump article the other day, it's still unknown whether the iOS platform is getting the Nintendo DS remake or enhanced 2D graphics. On the other hand, Square opened an official website which gives the game a release window of next month in Japan. Hopefully, like all other Square Enix iOS releases in the past, the West will get the game at the same time.
