Parasite Eve Released to PSN, Parasite Eve II Confirmed

Survivor Horror/RPG hybrid fans can rejoice, as Parasite Eve was released today on PlayStation Network at the price point of $5.99 USD. Originally published in 1998, the game follows Aya Brea as she fights against EVE, an aggressive mitochondria. The title is a fan favorite, and will be seeing a PSP semi-sequel, The 3rd Birthday, on the 29th of this month.

Also confirmed is that Parasite Eve II will be seeing release on PSN, but no date was announced. However, when mentioning the aforementioned PSP sequel, Square Enix's press release stated that both PSN titles would be "a great way to prepare for The 3rd Birthday release," possibly denoting that the title would see release soon.
