The first clue was a game update that mysteriously added some new trophies or achievements, depending on your platform of choice. The next, for those who bought the recently-released
Dragon Age II also saw a flyer insert alluding to some DLC 'arriving' for
Mass Effect 2. Finally, after teasing fans all this week with screenshots, BioWare eventually got around to confirming and dating the the
Arrival DLC. The listing on the official
Mass Effect 2 website reads as follows:
A deep cover agent is missing in Batarian space, after reporting evidence of an imminent Reaper invasion. Shepard must travel to the edge of the galaxy, rescue the agent, and discover the truth behind the Arrival. Uncover new research and 3 new achievements in this spectacular new adventure for Mass Effect 2.

The Arrival DLC will, er, arrive on all three platforms on March 29th and cost 560 Microsoft or BioWare Points, or $6.99 US.
