Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls Comes To The West
The ESRB leaks a localization.
03.20.11 - 5:32 PM

You've probably seen us mention the recent Wizardry games from developer Acquire that were released in Japan in January. If not, well, they released a Wizardry Twin Pack that included both Wizardry: Town of the Imprisoned Spirits and Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls for the PlayStation 3. Both are also downloadable individually from the Japanese PlayStation Network.

Now it looks like at least one of these first-person dungeon crawlers are headed out West. According to a recently-discovered ESRB description of the title, Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls is being localized (and has been slapped with a Teen rating). Apparently XSEED Games is the publisher, though the game's localization hasn't been officially announced quite yet. Acquire had been looking for an overseas publisher for both titles and, even recently at GDC, was still looking for a publisher for Town of the Imprisoned Spirits.
