Teaser Site: NPG from Compile Heart
What could it be? Possible sequel to Hyperdimension Neptunia?
03.24.11 - 10:15 PM

After teasing a new title in this week's Dengeki PlayStation, Compile Heart is taking it one step further. Recently, they opened a countdown site. The only information that appears is an acronym: NPG. The meaning behind those three letters will eventually be revealed. When exactly? Well, when the site first opened it was left at 500 hours until the big reveal.

Rumor has it this may be the sequel to Hyperdimension Neptunia. Why you ask? Well first off, the tagline translation appears close to, "That system will tremble in your hand like a little girl." Also, there's a picture of a portable system resembling the PSP. Since there's an obvious focus on systems, the themes of Hyperdimension Neptunia's console war comes to mind. Maybe this time they're taking the war to portable systems.

Keep in mind this all speculation at this point, and the title could be anything, it may not even be an RPG, although we're thinking that's more likely than not. Keep watching that countdown and we'll keep you posted.
