Gloria Union's Official JP Site Opens
Also: full name, the first screens and details!
04.05.11 - 7:43 PM

Last week Atlus and Sting announced the newest entry into the Union series, Gloria Union: Twin Fates in Blue Ocean. The official Japanese website is now open, so we have the first screens and details since the announcement.

The game follows the young Ishuto who dreams of becoming a pirate, and Pinger, his childhood friend who goes along with him on the journey to realize the dream together. Pinger is seen as different from Ishuto, more level-headed, and often willing to tease him. There is also focus on the kingdom of Euphoria which is now submerged deep into the ocean. A key element to Euphoria was humans' power of will. Before its disappearance, it left behind its legacy and these 'powers of will' in crystals sealed away in various parts of the world. Even today, pirates still travel the waters seeking the crystals.

As we said, the gameplay will be familiar to those who have played Blaze Union or Yggdra Union. Atlus and Sting have promised new tactics cards, new units, and even attacks that employ your pirate ship.

For a first look at the game, check out the (modest) gallery linked below. Gloria Union: Twin Fates in Blue Ocean will be released in Japan on June 23rd.
