Persona 4 Animation Announced
No FeMC here, sorry to anyone who wanted to date Teddie.

It's no Persona 4 Portable, but either way, it's good news for fans who can't get enough of Inaba and the Persona 4 universe. As it turns out, the Mayonaka TV countdown site led up to a Persona 4 anime that's in the works. The studio behind the animation is AIC ASTA, who also worked on Bamboo Blade.

According to the new official site, designers are Kazuma Kaneko (famous for many Shin Megami Tensei character and demon designs) for the Personas, and Shigenori Soejima is character designer. Shoji Meguro will once again compose the soundtrack, though it's not clear if there will be new tracks, songs from the game, or both.

The main protagonist, who went by Seta Souji in the Persona 4 manga, also gets a name change - to Yu Narukami.

If the official site is still slow for you, and/or if you're impatient, here's the teaser.
