A long seven months since its Tokyo Game Show 2010 announcement, SEGA finally gave fans and press at first look at
Phantasy Star Online 2. At a
Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity national tournament/fan event in Akihabara, they showed off the trailer below and also shared a few scant details on the title, which is to mark
Phantasy Star Online's 10th anniversary.
From what little info they gave, it looks like your main ship is named Oracle. The trailer promises lots of action, new combos, and a TPS (third-person shooter) system. There will be adventures on many planets, and the Arcs will be the people fighting against whatever evil is spreading throughout the Universe.
Unlike the original trailer, this one actually shows lots of gameplay and clocks in at about four minutes. The brand new gallery (with 15 screen shots to start with) is linked below.
Phantasy Star Online 2 is set to go into alpha phase this summer.
