Meet More Protagonists And Enemies Of Devil Survivor 2
What is it with SMT and astronomy?
05.17.11 - 1:29 PM

We added a whole bunch of artwork for Devil Survivor 2 a few days ago, and now it's time for more! To go with all the media, Atlus introduced four more characters - and some of the game's odd-looking invaders.

The four newest characters are all members of the same organization.:
-Yamato is a 17-year old whose family created the GIPS, the organization who's responsible for investigating geomagnetism. The calm Yamato is the director of the group, and chooses which strategy to use when going up against the Septentrion.
-26-year old Makoto works in the GIPS' Tokyo office and is described as cold and serious, but she likes to protect others and is loyal to the organization.
-Fumi can be found in the group's Nagoya branch conducting all kinds of research, and very focused on doing so.
-Finally, 24-year old Otome is a kind-hearted doctor at GIPS' Osaka branch who is in charge of health and medical care.

In Devil Survivor 2, a different Septentrion attacks a Japanese city each day, and not only do they all look pretty odd (does anyone else look at Dubhe and see an ice cream cone?), but they're also named after stars in the Ursa Major star constellation, which contains (among other things) the Big Dipper. The major attackers are: Dubhe (Sunday), Alkaid (Saturday), Merak (Monday), Megrez (Wednesday), Phecda (Tuesday), Alioth (Thursday), and my favourite - Mizar (Friday).
