Devil Survivor 2 Finally Gets A Trailer
And it's Major Japanese Cities 101.
05.19.11 - 12:51 AM

Unlike the first game, Devil Survivor 2 takes you outside of Tokyo and to other major Japanese cities, since the Septentrion invaders attack all over the country. The GIPS organization, which researches geomagetism and helps coordinate defense against these invaders, also have members in various cities. No doubt they will be of help to your main character and his two classmates, but do they have other motives too?

The first trailer lists off a bunch of major cities that will come into play, and your cast of characters. You also get to revisit your odd-looking Septentrion, who seem to be named after stars in Ursa Major. A different invader attacks each day for seven days.

The trailer suggests you'll have 'routes' to choose from, much like the first game did (where you were able to choose a different character's path)... but doesn't really elaborate.

Devil Survivor 2 for the Nintendo DS (not to be confused with Devil Survivor: Overclocked for the 3DS) releases in Japan on July 28th.
