7th Dragon 2020 Gallery Debut
The flowers aren't poisonous this time, we swear.
05.20.11 - 2:52 PM

Recently, SEGA and Imageepoch announced 7th Dragon 2020, a PlayStation Portable followup to the Nintendo DS title 7th Dragon, which never made it out West. The sequel, which retains much of the original's staff, sees seven dragons from space invading Tokyo and making it inhabitable by covering it in flowers. Imageepoch promises that this time, the flowers won't deal damage your characters - a major complaint from the first game.

Our first gallery gets a good look at flower-covered Tokyo, most notably the Shibuya district. The protagonists' base of operations is the government building Tocho. Not all of the enemies are dragons - the flowers have turned the other animals into hostile beasts, too.

So far, we have nine screens and three pieces of artwork. 7th Dragon 2020 is due to hit Japanese shelves in the fall.
