Rorona's Youthful Appearance In Atelier Meruru Explained
It's a tad spoilery, so click at your own risk!
05.24.11 - 2:24 AM

Sure, little Rorona looks completely adorable in Atelier Meruru, but her childlike appearance makes no darn sense! The Alchemist of Arland series is a trilogy of games that occur in chronological order, so Rorona should be older than both Meruru and former protagonist Totori at this point.

She would be, at least, if Meruru hadn't synthesized a mysterious compound that accidentally turned Rorona into a child. Oops. Well, mystery solved!

If you want to see Rorona being unreasonably cute (and a little upset with Meruru), don't forget to check out the videos from earlier today, which also give players a glimpse of the battle system and item synthesization.

To find out if Rorona ever regains her original form, you can always import when Atelier Meruru releases in Japan on June 23rd.
