Want To Be In The Credits Of Dark Souls?
Now you can! ...Assuming you have at least some artistic talent.
06.27.11 - 9:55 PM

As of today, Namco Bandai have opened a contest for players to design their own shield for the upcoming action RPG Dark Souls. Three designs will ultimately be chosen and the shields will be added to the game as post-launch content at a later date. If you'd like a shot at the glory, head over to the official Dark Souls Facebook page and become a fan. After that, download the blank templates and get designing! The deadline for submissions is the 13th of July and you can put forward three different designs.

For everyone else, you'll be able to vote for your favourite shields starting on July 20th. The ten shields with the highest votes will be sent to From Software, who will make the final decision. The three winners will be announced on July 28th. Each of the ten finalists will receive a free copy of Dark Souls signed by director Hidetaka Miyazaki. The final three winners will be awarded an autographed copy of the limited edition of Dark Souls, and their names will be included in the game’s credits.
