Final Fantasy VI Now On Virtual Console
As Nintendo cuts us off with one hand, they feed us with the other.
06.30.11 - 11:12 PM

Well, at least you'll get to play some kind of RPG on your (North American) Wii. Today's Nintendo downloads include a beloved Super Nintendo classic - and our favourite Final Fantasy title - Final Fantasy VI. If you haven't yet followed Terra and Locke through Figaro, watched Kefka freak out about sand in his boots, collect Gau from the Veldt, had Shadow show up and vanish at random, sang in an opera, and wandered through a ruined world looking for your friends in an airship, now's your chance. Final Fantasy VI is available now on the Virtual Console, is of course listed under its SNES name, Final Fantasy III, and can be had for 800 Wii Points.
