Atlus' Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked for the Nintendo 3DS recently has its Japanese release date confirmed for September 1st. But what about North America? Atlus initially listed the game for a summer release, but with this latest English trailer, it looks like that August release date that Amazon had been carrying for quite some time really is the game's final release date. This also marks the first time a Shin Megami Tensei title was released in the West before Japan.

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked for the 3DS, which also adds an 8th day scenario to the original game, will hit North American shelves on August 23rd and cost $39.99 US.
