WoW Raises $1.9 Million For Japan Earthquake Relief
Some new patch notes also included.
08.06.11 - 9:25 PM

Across May and July, the full $10 cost of any Cenarion Hatchling World of Warcraft pet bought from the Blizzard store was donated to aid Japan in recovering from the recent earthquakes and tsunamis. Over $1.9 million was raised by generous players who also got to adopt a cute little in-game pet! Good work, guys! I'm sure the Cenarion Circle would be proud of your efforts! This fund-raiser ended on July 31st, so you can still grab the pet, but none of the proceeds will be going to charity.

In the last few days, hotfixes for Patch 4.2 also went live on the WoW servers. It primarily fixes a number of skill and raids bugs, plus some other miscellany. The full list of changes can be found on the official site.
