Risen 2 Media Update
Plus a few more tidbits.
08.10.11 - 11:04 PM

Set a few years after the first Risen, Risen 2: Dark Waters takes place in and around Caldera, one of the last safe areas for the human race, which is struggling to survive. Even here though, the survivors see their supplies cut off by some... interesting, if not threatening creatures of the sea. To combat them, you must work your way into the pirates' ranks and learn their skills, since rumour has it that they're the only ones who know how to defeat these sea monsters.

Risen 2: Dark Waters employs a day/night cycle and weather changes, and NPCs and enemies that react to both these, and your own actions. And like so many games these days, your actions will have consequences on your character's skills, relationships and even available quests.

Deep Silver released a few more screens and another artwork of the game today.
