It's hard to believe that From Software's Dark Souls is just over a month and a half away from release. If you were for some reason wondering how many ways you can die this time, the new Gamescom trailer gives you an idea of just what else you might be up against. This might even be my favourite trailer yet for the game, which is a spiritual sequel to 2009's critically-acclaimed Demon's Souls.

Dark Souls (PS3, Xbox 360) releases in North America on October 4th and in Europe on October 7th.
