Harvest Moon Tells The DS Tale Of Two Towns Soon
If you were holding out for the 3DS version though, you might need to wait longer.

Looks like Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny wasn't the only release date that Natsume was able to finalize. Today the publisher announced the release date for Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns - but so far, for only one of the two versions. The Nintendo DS version will release on September 20th for $29.99 US, but the 3DS version hasn't yet gotten a date. Although Amazon lists the latter as coming in October, Natsume says the date will be announced soon.

If you were hoping for that adorable Alpaca plushie (and who wouldn't?), you'll only need to pre-order either version through GameStop.
