Professor Layton And The Last Specter Dated
You won't need a 3DS for this one.
08.29.11 - 6:56 PM

If Zelda isn't your thing and you still don't have a 3DS, then perhaps Professor Layton is more your speed. The next installment in Level-5's beloved puzzle adventure series got a Western release date today from Nintendo. Professor Layton and the Last Specter for the Nintendo DS takes place some three years before Professor Layton and the Curious Village, and has the most puzzles than any game in the series to date. As a bonus, its Western release will also include Professor Layton's London Life, an RPG portion that adds up to 100 hours worth of extra content.

(By the way, being both Canadian and a Mass Effect fan, it's hard not to type that last word in the title as 'Spectre' instead.)

Professor Layton and the Last Specter releases in North America on October 17th for $29.99 US.
