Correction: No Square Enix PSone Classics This Week
Sony says it made a mistake.
09.19.11 - 10:19 PM

Yesterday, as per the Official PlayStation Blog, we reported that the PSX versions of Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI would release on PSN tomorrow. Turns out, this was apparently an error on the blog's part and the games won't be available tomorrow after all.

It took Sony nearly a full day to make this correction, which was done sometime this afternoon. Again, this means neither will release on the PlayStation Network tomorrow. They are both rated by the ESRB and will be on the network at some point, but Sony wouldn't provide a new date.

We'd love to see these games release on PSN as much as some of you do, and regret any inconvenience this may have (undoubtedly) caused. Stay tuned to RPGFan for any future release details.
