Chrono Trigger Releases This Week On PSN.. In Japan

After a bit of a mess up a couple of weeks ago in North America, it looks like Square's classic Chrono Trigger will soon be released on the PSN in Japan. Yes, really - this information came from a tweet by Shinji Hashimoto from Square Enix. It will be available on the 28th of September (this Wednesday) for 1,200 yen ($15.72 US).

I know this news is sure to make some of you happy. Fellow editor Liz Maas included. (Ed. note: Liz wants it in her native language instead!) Besides an ESRB ratings leak, there has not yet been any official word on a state-side release, but it's pretty likely that will happen soon.
