Lots Of The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword Media
Nintendo got overly generous today.
09.29.11 - 8:28 PM

Nintendo decided today was a good day to release a lot of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword media. By that we mean three trailers, 30 screens, and a few tidbits. With the emphasis on story this time, Nintendo hints that we'll see further developments in Link and Zelda's relationship (before your imaginations run wild, keep in mind this game is rated E for everyone). The game takes place in Skyloft, an island town way above the clouds as the name might suggest. Link's father, Gaepora, knows a lot about its history and legends, and also happens to be his school's headmaster.

The school setting comes complete with a rival (Groose) who's jealous of Link and Zelda. You'll compete against him in the 'bird flying' competition, in which the prize is getting to participate in a special ceremony with Zelda. And then there is Fi, the spirit of the Goddess Sword, whom Link will meet along the way. She'll help guide Link along the way as he eventually would create the Master Sword. (And hopefully, she's less annoying than Navi.)

The new trailers are below. The first is the game's opening:

And a 'romance' trailer, featuring who else:

You'll also find 30 new screenshots in our gallery linked below. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for the Nintendo Wii releases on November 20th in North America.
