Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning Community Events Planned
Is February too far off for you? Get to know the world of Amalur in the meanwhile.
10.05.11 - 11:05 PM

You might have already caught up on editor John McCarroll's chicken-slaughtering adventures - or rather, his recent visit to 38 Studios to get some hands-on time with their first title, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. But like some of us, you may be finding that its February release date is going to be quite a wait. If you were itching to know more about the world of Amalur, 38 and Big Huge Games are starting up a community event tomorrow on the game's Facebook page.

The main idea behind the community event is a 'Reckoning Interactive Story' ...not unlike those choose-your-own-adventure books. Every week, the Facebook page will update with another piece of the story, a screenshot, and a poll asking the page's fans what direction to take next in the narrative. The questions will cover everything from deciding the protagonist's gender and race to his (or her) destiny types. This interactive story will begin tomorrow, so be sure to check out the page!

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning releases on February 7th, 2012 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. For more on the game, visit the links below!
