Serious Sam: The Random Encounter Review
An FPS-turned-RPG, but not in the way you'd expect.

For those who are unaware, Serious Sam is a series of first person shooters developed by Croteam, a developer in Zagreb, Croatia. These shooters are straightforward - kill a lot of enemies with really big guns, and hearken back to the days of yore for FPS gamers.

Not too long ago, they started the Serious Sam Indie Series, featuring several games developed by tiny developers in the Serious Sam world. One of these games? Hybrid turn-based/action RPG Serious Sam: The Random Encounter. Editor Bob Richardson met this chance encounter - read his review below!
