RPGFan Soundtracks Update
JRPGs, WRPGs, old stuff, new stuff... we've got it all.
11.08.11 - 9:59 PM

Tonight, I'm pleased to present to you a number of reviews from all across the ages. First up, we have another helping of Mark Morgan courtesy of Kyle E. Miller's review of the Planescape: Torment soundtrack. The game is thoroughly well-beloved, but does the music hold up? Check out Kyle's review for the details. Following that, our editor emeritus Patrick Gann drops in for a little obscure PlayStation action with the PAL - Holy Dog Legend soundtrack. Mr. Gann follows up with his thoughts on the Crest of Knights: Ayane single, which pulls together a number of themes from a few different JRPGs.

Continuing further, my fine associate Bob Richardson was good enough to give us his thoughts on not only the Devil Survivor 2 soundtrack, but also the Special Soundtracks arrange album from the same game. If you're a Shin Megami Tensei fan, be sure to check it out! (And be sure to check out our next update, which promises to be quite Shin Megami heavy.)

You can also check out my thoughts on the Bastion soundtrack, composed by Darren Korb (whom I had the pleasure of speaking to, alongside Robert Steinman on Random Encounter. Lastly, if you're a fan of huge Polish RPGs, you might find something of interest in my review of the Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings soundtrack.

We've got a ton of reviews in the oven right now, so be sure to check back soon for our next update—especially if you find yourself a fan of that tiny Shin Megami Tensei series!
