Tales of Innocence R Ricardo Video, Gameplay Tidbits
You mean we haven't gone through the entire cast yet?
11.17.11 - 9:22 PM

Ricardo is just the latest in Tales of Innocence R's cast to get his own little video clip of both him in action and in conversation. The rifle-toting character may be one of the oldest members of the cast, but he's no slouch.

The Vita remake's official site also got an update detailing more on two of the game's systems, the Rave System and bond parameters. The former consists of a 'rave gauge' that increases as you attack foes and execute combos - it's kind of like an 'intensity meter' for your party. If you get struck or take little action however, this gauge decreases. This meter has four levels, and you'll set an ability to each level. Rave abilities, like strength increases and HP recovery, can be bought at the Grade Shop with grade points.

Bond parameters are more of an indication of how strong two characters' relationship is, and you can keep track of this in the menu. The parameter is affected by decisions you make both in battle and during skits, and can unlock special events are you 'level up' your bond.

Tales of Innocence R releases in Japan on January 26th.
