A Look At Kingdom Hearts 3DS' Pinocchio And Hunchback Stages
And.. more!
11.25.11 - 10:49 PM

Famitsu gave us our first look at two new areas in Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance - one from Pinocchio, and another from The Hunchback of Notre Dame. The Pinocchio stage is called Prankster's Paradise, and takes place inside the stomach of a giant whale. You'll meet Pinocchio, of course, and Jiminy Cricket.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame stage is called La Cité de Cloches (The City of Bells). Here Sora has run into Frollo and city guards, worried about demons who have been seen around the city.

Famitsu also shared screens of the battle system and the Dream Eaters. These creatures can fight both with or against you. In battle against a bigger Dream Eater, you have a command that can send your enemy flying away. When you team up with them, you can either ride on them, grab onto them or even just draw from their power.

Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance is scheduled for a spring 2012 release in Japan. For the 3DS title a Western release is inevitable but Square Enix has not yet provided a release window.
