Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention (Disgaea 3 Return in Japan) is Nippon Ichi's PlayStation Vita launch title, and a port of the PS3 game. If somehow you've never played or even seen the PS3 title, don't worry, we have a lot of screens of the Vita version. And we do mean a lot. The Vita port comes with all the DLC characters from the PS3 version, plus a couple new ones.

So how are you supposed to manage such a huge cast? Your inactive characters are left in the detention room, but can be sent to your classroom when you want to level them. Rasperyl and Sapphire will get new options for costumes, and you can even customize the windows. The game's classes have new skills to learn too.

For new media, you can find 128 screens and 39 pieces of artwork in our gallery below. Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention launches with the Vita on December 17th in Japan and is to be released in North America within the Vita's 'launch window' - the system is dated for February 22nd here.
