Last week, we got to see more of the rivalry between Lighting and Caius in
the most recent video of
Final Fantasy XIII-2. In the game though, Caius, who is described as strong, calm and not very revealing of his emotions, is also after Noel.
The new screens also show some more of the fragments, the quests that you can complete in the game. You're actually clearing up time paradoxes in exchange for fragments, which you can trade for items or skills. Some of them contain pieces of the game's lore.
You can also get a glimpse of Calamity Blade, a weapon for Noel that you'll get if you buy the game from Square Enix's eStore (in Japan).
Final Fantasy XIII-2 releases in North America on January 31st.
