Back at E3, Atlus USA announced is plans to localize Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2, the Nintendo DS sequel to the 2009 strategy RPG. Japan saw the game's release back in July. The title follows a somewhat similar premise to the first Devil Survivor, with a new demon attacking a Japanese metropolis each day for a week. The cast of characters is new, though from the same character designer from the first game.

Atlus USA sent out a first batch of English screenshots (8 in total) which you'll find below. You can also check out the game's packaging and see how it measures up to the Japanese version. Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 is slated for an early 2012 released in North America; Amazon currently lists a February 14th date but this has not been confirmed by Atlus.
