John McCarroll
Obsidian Developing South Park RPG
No, this isn't a joke. I promise. Really.
12.01.11 - 12:25 PM

Game Informer announced today that their cover reveal for the next issue would be a brand new RPG. However, few would have guessed that said RPG would be developed by Obsidian and based on the South Park franchise and would be entitled South Park: The Game. Written by series creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, the game puts you in the role of a new kid in South Park as you must make friends and defend the town from enemies. There's no word if any of these will be "Stupid Mongorians" or Chinpokomon.

Published by THQ and slated for release in 2012 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, further details will be released for South Park: The Game will be in the January issue of Game Informer.
