Atlus' Next Announcement Likely Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time
Thanks, EB Canada, you are great at showing off unannounced games.
01.18.12 - 10:56 AM

With Atlus' last announcement chain, they teased a title that could either have been the Sting-developed Gungnir or the in-house Growlanser IV for PSP. While they officially announced Gungnir, the door was left open for another game that started with the letter "G".

It looks like EB Canada has stolen Atlus' thunder with their listing for Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time, also known as Growlanser IV, apparently slated for release on July 24, 2012. While this is far from an official announcement, the EB Canada website has what appears to be official US Box art, complete with ESRB's Rating Pending box.

We're still waiting for Atlus to officially announce the title, but this is likely all the proof we're going to need to say that this one's on the books.

Special thanks to forum user cj_iwakura for sharing the link for this listing.

Update! Atlus has officially announced the title with quite the funny introductory image.
