Suikoden: The Woven Web Of A Century Screens Added
Hey look, it's a battle system!
01.31.12 - 1:41 AM

A recent update to Suikoden: The Woven Web of a Century's official website gave both new screenshots and some details on the PSP title's battle system. Turn-based battles are initiated when coming across an enemy on the map, and with the six characters you get to bring into battle, you arrange them on a 3x3 grid. Your allies can team up for attacks too, with their bonuses dependent on their relationship with each other.

So far, 44 characters have been revealed on the official website. You can learn skills from past generations of characters in your party, and you can also learn skills from other characters if they share the same job as you do. Your character has a choice of eight jobs, plus a sub-job.

Be sure to check out the first gameplay screens (12 in total) in our gallery below. Suikoden: The Woven Web of a Century releases on February 9th in Japan, with no Western release announced.
