More on the tactical board game-turned-video game.

A while ago, we introduced to you Confrontation, another Cyanide Studio title, this one based on the board game by Rackham. The strategy RPG and PC game is due out soon, but its official website has now opened up with new media and info. Among them is a recent teaser trailer and some new screens:

When launching into a journey through the mystic world of Aarklash, one which relies heavily the balance of the six elements (air, water, fire, light, darkness, earth), you will come across four factions: griffin, jackal, wolf and scorpion. Each has their own country and history, right down to alliances and preferred magic. As the player you'll be leading a group of Griffin units, currently locked in a bitter conflict with the Scorpion. As Confrontation is a strategy title, you'll direct your squad in battle - one which starts out small, but will grow in number as you progress.

To read about the factions and story in greater detail, you can read up on those and much more on the official website. Confrontation for PC does not have a release date, but is said to be coming 'very soon' to both online and retail outlets.
