Risen 2: Dark Waters Pre-Order Bonuses Announced
Nab some quest DLC, and an outfit.
03.01.12 - 4:01 PM

If you're looking for a pirate fix in your RPGs, you might want to check out Kyle's hands-on preview of the upcoming 'Arr-PG' (I'm not the one who coined this phrase, I swear) Risen 2: Dark Waters. Piranha Bytes' follow-up to Risen lets the protagonist take sides with pirates in order to fight off creatures emerging from the ocean and invading the island.

For the truly interested, publisher Deep Silver revealed some pre-order incentives today. Pre-orders will net you the game's special edition, which includes a 'Treasure Isle' DLC map pack - this includes five hours of quests and a location not found in the main game. Those who pre-order from GameStop specifically will also receive a Pirate's Clothing DLC outfit, which adds on some stat bonuses.

Risen 2: Dark Waters, which is to be distributed by Square Enix, releases in North America on PC on April 27th, and on PS3 and Xbox 360 on May 22nd.
