Star Wars: The Old Republic Update 1.2 Now Available
Create your in-game family legacy.
04.13.12 - 2:02 PM

Finally released yesterday was update 1.2 for BioWare and LucasArts' MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic, titled Legacy. The update allows you to connect your characters in a family tree granting several bonuses, adds UI customization, guild banks, and many gameplay tweaks and fixes.

Some new content has also been added in the update. Watch the video below for a look at the Operation Explosive conflict. In this conflict, both the Republic and Sith are after control of the planet and its valuable resources - as well as a rogue warlord - on the planet Denova:

Other content includes Flashpoint: Lost Island (a continuation of Rise of the Rakghouls from 1.1), and Warzone: Novare Coast.

BioWare also added a few incentives for new and existing players: Anyone with an active account between now and April 21st, or anyone who activates a new account before then, will get a Tauntaun ram pet in-game. Active players who have reached level 50 will get a month of SWTOR free of charge. Finally, if you have an inactive account, starting today you can try out this latest update for up to a week.
