New Class of Heroes Trailer, Gallery Added
Series abandons its dungeon-crawling tradition.
05.01.12 - 10:49 PM

Acquire's Class of Heroes series will be abandoning its dungeon-crawling roots in favour of a more traditional RPG direction, with the release of New Class of Heroes: Chrono Academy. Like much of the rest of the series, the ZeroDiv-developed Chrono Academy will be a PSP title, though with a brand new battle system, 3D monsters and fields to explore.

The game goes through a cycle of one school year, starting when three new transfer students show up at the game's school. The school is a bit less traditional and a bit more fun, seeing as your classes include things like fencing. You'll play as the three students, and the game's story won't be all the same each time due to the multi-scenario system. (The game's theme of time might have something to do with that.)

Below is the game's first trailer:

And you'll also find a link to the brand new gallery below. New Class of Heroes: Chrono Academy for PSP is slated for a July 19th release in Japan. Pre-ordering will net you a drama CD and a premium ticket.
