Marvel Heroes Announced

Gazillion Entertainment today announced Marvel Heroes, a brand new action MMORPG. The free-to-play title will feature, of course, heroes and villains from all over the Marvel Universe, including Thor, Iron Man, the X-Men, and even lesser-known characters like Cable and Squirrel Girl. Players can customize their character's costumes, choose their powers, have lots of items to choose from and more.

Marvel Heroes also promises lots of familiar areas: you'll visit Midtown Manhattan, the Xavier Institute of Higher Learning, Mutant Town, Hell's Kitchen and Savage Land, places where you'll buy items from some Marvel characters themselves, meet other players and take on or carry out missions. The game is being written by Brian Michael Bendis (Ultimate Spider-Man, New Avengers), and will cover some key points in the Marvel universe's history.
