Monsters, Mounts and Marriage Candidates in Rune Factory 4
More marvellous material has materialised! ...Oh, and a gallery update too.

Hopefully, if you've made it this far, I didn't blow your mind with my awesome 'M' alliteration. Right! So, onto why you're really reading this:

We've got plenty of new information on quite a range of activities available in Marvelous AQL's upcoming 3DS RPG Rune Factory 4. Perhaps most notably, two new candidates for marriage have been revealed. Lin Fa is the first and just one of the regular girls you might meet around town. Leon, on the other hand, starts off as a monster and must be defeated to revert to a human form and be, uh, suitable for marriage. If this is news to you, check out our article on it here.

This time around, you'll be able to have party members to help you in battle too. Up to two friends can accompany you and will spend their time hacking away at enemies by your side. Even monsters can be added to your party, but you must first have a monster hut at your farm and then gain their loyalty. They can even help you with the farm work.

Screen Screen

Last, but certainly not least, some monsters can even be used as mounts.

As you might be able to tell from the screenshots, you can even attack while mounted! ...I wonder if you can farm while mounted?

Rune Factory 4 will be out in Japan on July 19th of this year.
