NCSoft haven't shied away from promoting their upcoming PC MMO
Guild Wars 2, but they have shied away from revealing when it will be released... until now! The game is officially set for a release on August 28th in both North America and Europe. NCSoft and ArenaNet are still doing some beta testing over these next couple of months so, if you're interested, you can sign up for it over on the
official site.
President of ArenaNet, Mike O'Brien, had this to say about the release: "After five years of creation, development, and polish, announcing the launch date of Guild Wars 2 is a huge milestone for us, but the thing we're most looking forward to is seeing gamers from all over the globe explore this world and begin creating their own stories."
