Final Fantasy XIII Saga Teaser Site Opens
If we have to wait until September, that's a huge storm that's gathering.
08.22.12 - 5:01 PM

Square Enix mentioned some time ago that at the Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary event in Tokyo later this month, more will be revealed on its continuation of the Final Fantasy XIII Lightning saga. The newly-opened teaser site for the saga literally doesn't tell us any more than this, but if you like animated storm clouds, that's something, right?

Final Fantasy XIII-2 released earlier this year, addressing many issues that fans had with its predecessor, Final Fantasy XIII, but was still met with some mixed reception. Various story DLC was also made available, with the final one centering around Lightning herself. Even so, it was plainly obvious that Square wasn't done with the Lightning saga.

Will they call the game Final Fantasy XIII-3, or come up with yet another naming convention? What other changes will be made in this next installment? Square Enix plans to reveal their plans on September 1st, so stay tuned!
